Nancy, I think we need to look at who's or what's survival the guide is aimed at. We could provide hints about helping a conversation survive. We might also provide some experiences about how we help ourselves, as bloggers, survive. Tish has just had an interesting experience, that included being designated "Karl Rove's dominatrix!".

So I'm thinking that we each have some principles we espouse and try to follow, and some behaviors we use to elicit and manage conversations. Maybe we should start there. -Bill
